History of Jews
- BEGINNING: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, known as the Patriarchs, are both the physical and spiritual ancestors of Judaism. Abraham was told that if he left his family he would be given great things, and he accepted. Later on Abraham had a son named Jacob. Judaism is believed to have started over 4000 years ago with the Hebrew. Abraham is believed to be the founder of the Jews because he had the first central idea that there is only one god. Abraham was told that he would find a promise land, that promised land ended up being Canaan.

The largest amount of Jews dead in a short amount of time was the Holocaust. During the Holocaust there is an estimated 5-6 million Jews killed.
- Location: Jews have the highest concentration in Israel and America. Israel is considered a holy site for Judaism. Some other holy places for Jews include the Temple Mount, the Foundation Stone, and the Wailing Wall.
- The Written Law: The written law consists of five books of the Hebrew Bible. Also known as "The Old Testament" The written Law is also called the Torah. Torah has multiple meanings including: A scroll made from kosher animal parchment, with the entire text of the Five Books of Moses written on it; the text of the Five Books of Moses, written in any format; and, the term "Torah" can mean the entire corpus of Jewish law.
